Mold & Moisture
Identify, assess, and resolve mold issues with fast, science-backed evaluations and clear remediation guidance.
All Hazard EHS, Inc can provide comprehensive mold and moisture assessments that can include air sampling, surface sampling and/or moisture testing indoors. Our industrial hygienists can provide you with quick results and a full report of findings with recommendations to remediate your mold and moisture problems. Molds are fungi that can be found in both indoor and outdoor environments. It is estimated that there are tens of thousands of different species of fungi existing in the world. Molds are usually not a problem indoors unless mold spores are introduced to desirable conditions. Molds can grow quickly and become a problem in homes and buildings when moisture or humid environments are introduced. Mold is not always obvious and can be hidden behind base boards, in wall cavities, and even in HVAC vents.

Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions) and irritants in susceptible individuals. Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Allergic responses include hay fever-type symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, red eyes, and skin rash. Some molds do have the potential to produce mycotoxins which can cause infection in susceptible individuals.
